Summary: The role of Application Packager involves working on a 9-month contract in London, requiring the candidate to be 100% on-site. The position is part of the Desktop Service Technical Specialist Team, focusing on supporting enterprise desktop systems, performing routine tasks, and providing technical support. The candidate will also assist in project-driven activities and service improvements related to desktop services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support various systems within the Enterprise Desktop Service.
  • Complete monthly routine tasks such as patch and image cycles.
  • Implement routine releases, including Group Policy changes.
  • Provide 3rd line technical support and troubleshoot incidents escalated to the Desktop Service.
  • Assist in project-driven or service improvement activities, including small systems designs and image designs.
  • Implement MECM and MDT solutions and perform other general technical activities.

Key Skills:

  • Experience in application packaging.
  • Knowledge of desktop service support and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with patch management and image deployment.
  • Ability to assist in project-driven activities and service improvements.

Salary (Rate): £54.00 per hour

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Application Packager to work a 9-month contract for our client in 100% on-site in London.

As a member of the Desktop Service Technical Specialist Team, you will be responsible for supporting the various systems within the remit of the Enterprise Desktop Service. Including completing monthly routine tasks such as Patch and image cycles and routine releases such as Group Policy changes. Providing 3rd line technical support and troubleshooting of incidents and issues escalated to the Desktop Service for resolution. Assisting Project driven or Service Improvement activates, such as complete small systems designs, image designs, MECM and MDT implementations and other general technical activities
