Application packager- Hybrid

Summary: The role of Application Packager involves working with Microsoft Azure and supporting Azure Virtual Desktop environments. Candidates should have experience in application packaging and deployment, particularly in virtual desktop settings, and a solid understanding of Zero Trust security principles. The position requires hands-on experience with enterprise identity and access concepts, as well as the ability to document technical information effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and operate Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments.
• Manage application packaging and deployment in virtual desktop or managed desktop environments.
• Implement Zero Trust security principles related to user and application access.
• Participate in IT integration, migration, or transformation projects.
• Gather, analyze, and document technical information for delivery activities.
• Utilize application packaging tools such as MSIX, App-V, Intune, or SCCM.
• Understand enterprise identity and access concepts, particularly Entra ID (Azure AD) and conditional access.

Key Skills:

• Proven experience with Microsoft Azure and core platform services.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).
• Practical knowledge of Zscaler or equivalent Secure Web Gateway/Zero Trust Network Access solutions.

Proven experience working with Microsoft Azure, with a strong understanding of core platform services. Hands-on experience supporting or operating Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments. Practical knowledge of Zscaler (or equivalent Secure Web Gateway/Zero Trust Network Access solutions) in an enterprise environment. Experience supporting application packaging and deployment, ideally in a virtual desktop or managed desktop environment. Understanding of Zero Trust security principles, particularly in relation to user access, application access and Internet egress. Experience working on IT integration, migration or transformation projects, preferably within complex or regulated environments. Ability to gather, analyse and document technical information to support delivery activities and downstream decision-making. Experience with application packaging tools (eg MSIX, App-V, Intune, SCCM, or similar). Knowledge of enterprise identity and access concepts, particularly Entra ID (Azure AD) and conditional access
