Summary: A leading Professional Services organization is seeking an Application IT Project Manager with prior Developer experience for a contract role. The position involves working onsite in Belfast three days a week and offers the chance to collaborate with a Tier 1 Investment Banking client on a significant program. This role emphasizes technical skill development within a global team while supporting client growth in a key business area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the strategic direction, development, and implementation of IT policy and standard requirements
• Implement IT governance model, create project plans, track and report; ownership of systems and applications including life cycle management
• Partner with IT Risk and Control teams to assess gaps and identify remediation plans
• Strong understanding of Enterprise Wide IT Risk Management framework and Risk and Control processes
• Track record of delivering and managing large projects across multiple businesses and geographies
• Strategic thinker with proven ability to lead global teams in a large organization
• Demonstrated experience in delivering change in a collaborative, agile team environment as well as more standard frameworks
• Ability to monitor tight deadlines or unexpected requirement changes
• Support the Operations line team with their test preparation and execution
• Lead the identification and drive resolution of issues, including those outside of the immediate workstream within their remit
• Drive adherence to project processes, procedures, methods, and standards for project delivery as defined by IT Leadership

Key Skills:

• Hands-on development experience in any programming languages including Java or C# (minimum 1 year) on enterprise application software
• Project Management experience
• Demonstrated track record of managing teams and delivering on large, strategic cross-functional projects
