Summary: The Apple SME / Apple Platform Architect will serve as the subject matter expert for macOS, iOS, and iPadOS within a large-scale banking transformation program. This role involves defining and driving the Apple platform strategy and architecture while ensuring compliance with security and regulatory standards. The architect will lead device management and collaborate with various teams to support the transformation and migration of Apple estates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the Apple subject matter expert for macOS, iOS, and iPadOS across a large-scale banking transformation programme
- Define and drive Apple platform strategy, architecture, and governance aligned to security, regulatory, and enterprise standards
- Lead device management, UEM/MDM integrations, Apple Business Manager, and Zero Touch Deployment
- Support transformation, carve-out, migration, and coexistence of Apple estates
- Ensure security, compliance, encryption, and audit readiness for Apple devices
- Collaborate with architecture, security, end-user computing, programme teams, and vendors
