Appian Developer

Summary: The Appian Developer role involves designing, developing, and implementing business process management solutions using the Appian platform. The candidate will collaborate with various teams to ensure the delivery of scalable applications that meet business needs. This position requires a strong understanding of Appian architecture and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively. The role is hybrid based in London and is classified as inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop BPM applications using Appian.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.
• Build and maintain Appian objects such as records, reports, interfaces, and process models.
• Integrate Appian applications with external systems using APIs and web services.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Document technical specifications and user guides.

Key Skills:

• Appian Level 1 or Level 2 certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of Appian architecture and components.
• Experience with Appian SAIL, process modeling, and data management.
• Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
