Summary: The Appian Architect/Developer role requires a seasoned IT professional with over 12 years of experience, including more than 10 years specifically in Appian. The position involves technical architecture, application development, and business process management, with a strong emphasis on Agile methodologies and enterprise application integration. The candidate must also possess a Level 2 Appian Developer certification and be capable of obtaining Public Trust clearance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and document architecture for technology implementations leveraging different architectural views.
- Develop and integrate applications using Appian and other BPM tools.
- Model and optimize business processes.
- Design and implement SOAP and REST Web Services.
- Configure, debug, and integrate systems, including forms, reports, and interface components.
- Work with relational databases and SQL scripting, preferably with Oracle Databases.
- Develop Appian Plugins and utilize Appian SAIL Design.
- Collaborate in all phases of software development for large-scale business-critical applications following Agile methodologies.
Key Skills:
- 12+ years of experience in the IT industry, with 10+ years in Appian.
- Certified Level 2 Appian Developer.
- Experience in Technical Architecture, Application Development, and Business Process Management.
- Proficiency in Enterprise Application Integration (SOA, ESB) and n-tier client-server architectures.
- Hands-on experience with Appian, including Appian Plugin development and SAIL Design.
- Knowledge of Application Servers like JBoss, WebLogic, IIS, Tomcat.
