Summary: The Apparel Design Internship offers students the opportunity to engage in meaningful projects while supporting the design team in various tasks. Interns will assist in the design process from concept to final product, gather trend information, and create design samples. The role requires relocation to Herzogenaurach, Germany, for the internship duration from March 2025 to September 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support team in day-to-day tasks
• Assist and observe the entire design phase from concept creation to final product
• Gather relevant trend and consumer information for the product category
• Support with creation of seasonal design ideas and concepts
• Assist the Design Team in creating presentations, product designs, tech packs, and material research
• Complete CAD revisions, color updates, and technical packages
• Create prototypes and design samples to support seasonal concepts
• Participate and support during product fitting sessions
• Communicate with cross-functional stakeholders such as Marketing and Development
• Upload data into the internal software system

Key Skills:

• Student of Apparel Design, Sportswear/Performance Design, Fashion Design, Textile Design, or similar
• Fluent in English (written & spoken)
• Proficient in Illustrator and Photoshop, preferably in a Mac environment
• Experience with 3D programs (CLO3D or similar) is a plus
• Strong storytelling abilities
• Good sketching and rendering skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams
• Previous design experience is a plus
