Key Responsibilities:
- Create automation scripts, including estimates, scripts, and pre/post conditioning.
- Execute automated tests and collate evidence for progress reporting.
- Articulate tests executed, data used, results, and defects to stakeholders.
- Build efficiency in testing and continuously improve test methods and processes.
- Participate in requirement analysis, identifying risks, and creating test scenarios.
- Ensure full integration with a focus on overall service quality.
- Create automation code using Java, Selenium, JQuery, and Cucumber.
- Set up and execute automated tests and record evidence.
- Promote best practices within the team and champion innovation.
- Identify development needs and seek opportunities for guidance and training.
Key Skills:
- API test automation experience.
- Proficiency in test automation tools such as REST Assured, Selenium, and Cucumber using Java.
- Extensive knowledge of the testing lifecycle and core testing processes.
- Strong testing skills including estimations, test plan design, and bug verification.
- Able to identify processes and tools to optimize testing quality.
- Experience in writing high-quality, readable, reusable, testable code.
- Effective communication skills regarding status and progress of activities.
