API Developer
Summary: We are seeking a Full Stack Developer with a strong focus on backend development, particularly in TypeScript and cloud-native applications. The role involves designing scalable services and APIs, integrating with various platforms, and leveraging AWS for secure solutions. While frontend experience is necessary, the primary responsibilities will center around backend services and application architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using TypeScript and Node.js.
- Build and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- Develop robust integrations with third-party SaaS platforms, payment providers, CRMs, ERPs, identity providers, and internal systems.
- Design event-driven and asynchronous architectures using AWS messaging services.
- Develop cloud-native applications using AWS serverless and container-based technologies.
- Create reusable TypeScript libraries and shared services used across multiple applications.
- Build secure authentication and authorization workflows using OAuth2, JWT, SAML, and OpenID Connect.
- Design and implement API gateways, middleware, and integration layers.
- Develop frontend components and user interfaces using React and TypeScript where required.
- Build automated deployment pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise production applications.
- Participate in solution architecture, technical design, code reviews, and mentoring.
