Summary: The Ansible Automation Engineer role is a contract position based in Milton Keynes, focusing on automation and configuration management using Ansible. Key Responsibilities:

Location: Milton Keynes (Contract role :2 months - 6 months) -Hybrid

Essential : Automation & Configuration Management Software (Ansible) - Mandatory requirement

Python Development

Code Repository Software Gitlab

Experience with Automation of Linux, Windows & VMWare

Experience with automating atleast one of the below cloud platform (vCloud, AWS, Azure)

Experience with Docker, Swarm, Kubernets

Good communication & writing skill

Desirable : Job scheduling & runbook automation (e.g. Rundeck)

Code validation & deployment software (SonarQube, Jenkins)

Network Troubleshooting

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Being a subject matter expert and taking a consultative role as it pertains to infrastructure automation
  • Setting standards/guidelines for IT Automation, both of the code itself and the level of documents
  • Assist other Produbant teams to resolve automation challenges as part of a Centre of excellence infrastructure automation
  • Training other members of Produbant on automation technologies
  • Understand the IAM risk principles and follow and promote the risk culture within area of responsibility
  • In carrying out role, be responsible for identifying, assessing, managing and reporting risk using appropriate company procedures and channels.
