Summary: As a Market Risk UI Software Engineer, you will join an Agile team focused on developing a multi-cross asset platform that provides self-service reporting and analytics tools for risk managers and front office users. Your role involves writing efficient code in TypeScript and Angular, collaborating with Tech-Leads, and engaging with Risk Managers to gather requirements. The position requires a strong understanding of software development and financial markets, with a focus on delivering impactful solutions across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write elegant, reusable, unit tested, and performant code in TypeScript and Angular UI framework.
- Collaborate with Tech-Leads to simplify architecture and maintain performance.
- Write technical analysis and design documents adhering to predefined standards.
- Liaise with Risk Managers and Business Analysts to gather requirements and implement functionalities.
Key Skills:
- Minimum four-year college degree in computer science or related discipline.
- Proven hands-on experience in software development with Angular UI, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.
- Knowledge of SQL and relational database systems.
- Understanding of GIT, Agile methodologies, and SDLC phases.
- Understanding of financial markets and risk management concepts.
- Experience in Linux, Python, and Java.
- Experience in building Big Data Analytic Reporting technologies such as HDFS and Spark.
