Summary: A leading cross-asset brokerage firm is looking for a skilled Angular Developer with expertise in Electron.js to enhance their desktop trading and analytics platform. The role involves collaborating with product and trading teams to deliver high-performance features in a regulated environment. The position is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days a week in the office, and is classified as inside IR35. The contract duration is 6 months with a daily rate of up to £800.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain modular, high-performance Angular components
- Build and optimize Electron-based desktop applications for real-time trading workflows
- Collaborate with backend developers and DevOps teams to ensure seamless data integration
- Contribute to UI/UX decisions, performance tuning, and application stability
Key Skills:
- Strong commercial experience with Angular, TypeScript, RxJS
- Proven track record building Electron applications in production environments
- Familiarity with real-time data feeds, low-latency UI, and high-frequency update scenarios
- Experience working within financial services or trading platforms
- Strong Git, CI/CD, and Agile/Scrum experience
