Summary: The Android Engineer role involves joining a high-impact programme with a leading consultancy to support a major UK bank in preventing fraud and financial crime. Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Java
  • Apply best practices in Android UI design, architecture (MVVM), and modular development
  • Work with modern tools including Jetpack Compose, Dagger/Hilt, and Coroutines
  • Design scalable apps that perform across multiple screen sizes and Android versions
  • Collaborate with product and design to deliver user-centric features
  • Write and maintain unit, UI, and snapshot tests
  • Integrate with RESTful APIs and optimise performance
  • Use agile development practices and CI/CD pipelines
  • Contribute to team growth through mentoring and knowledge sharing

We’re looking for an Android Engineer to join a high-impact programme with a leading consultancy, supporting a major UK-based bank. You’ll be contributing to a critical platform focused on preventing fraud and financial crime—helping protect people, businesses, and communities.

Project Summary: Be part of a team focusing on enhancing the organisation’s ability to prevent, detect, and respond to economic crime. The platform provides enterprise-wide services to one of the UK’s largest banks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Java
