Summary: Our client, a global consulting firm, is seeking three Android Engineers for a contract role focused on a project in the Cards/Payments space. The position requires strong expertise in Kotlin and Coroutines, along with experience in Jetpack Compose and MVI Architecture. The contract is set to run until the end of 2026, with a requirement for three days per week onsite in London. The role offers a competitive daily rate of up to £455 via Umbrella.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Android applications in the Cards/Payments space.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Key Skills:
- Strong Kotlin & Coroutines experience.
- Jetpack Compose experience.
- JUnit/Espresso experience.
- MVI Architecture experience.
- REST API experience.
- Dagger, RxJava, OkHttp nice to have.
