Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Android applications using Kotlin and support legacy Java code.
  • Utilize Jetpack Libraries and implement MVI Architecture.
  • Integrate REST APIs and work with API documentation.
  • Manage builds with Gradle and implement CI/CD practices using GitHub Actions and CircleCI.
  • Apply asynchronous programming techniques, including Coroutines, Flows, and RxJava.
  • Conduct testing using Espresso, JUnit, and WireMock.

Key Skills:

  • Strong experience in Kotlin and familiarity with Java.

Our client are a global consulting firm, working on a project in the Card Payments space, they are on the lookout for an Android Developer to come in on a contract basis.

Key Skills/Requirements:

  • Strong Kotlin experience with Java familiarity for legacy support
  • Jetpack Libraries experience, MVI Architecture
  • REST API integration and working with API documentation
  • Gradle experience, CI/CD (GitHub Actions, CircleCI)
  • Asynchronous Programming experience: Coroutines, Flows, RxJava
  • Espresso/JUnit, WireMock for testing

Contract is running until the end of 2026 initially, paying up to £520p/day (Inside IR35 via Umbrella) and will be 3 days per week onsite in London.
