Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin.

  • Implement security best practices in mobile application development.
  • Enhance CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications.
  • Participate in Agile and Lean development processes.

Key Skills:

  • Experience in Android development.
  • Strong knowledge of native mobile application development in Kotlin.
  • Familiarity with notifications systems (GCM, FCM, etc.).
  • Understanding of App architecture patterns.
  • Knowledge of mobile security practices (Obfuscation, Encryption, etc.).
  • Proficiency in relevant programming languages (Kotlin/Android, Java).
  • Experience with CI/CD, unit testing, and automated integration tests.
  • Experience with Jenkins preferred.
  • Experience with Cloud Development Platforms and Microservice architecture.

Our client is seeking an outstanding Android developer to join the team on a contract basis.

You will use your practical knowledge and experience with computer science and mobile development while working closely with data science and data engineering to enable a number of unique experiences within the Financial sector.

Skills we are looking for:

  • Great experience in Android development
  • Strong experience with native mobile application development in Kotlin.
  • Notifications - GCM, FCM, MixPanel, Flurry, Push Bots, PubNub, Firebase Fingerprint authentication
  • Strong knowledge of App architecture patterns.
  • Strong notions of security best practices and demonstrated experience of applying sound mobile security practices such as Obfuscation, Encryption, SSL, Certification Pinning, Tokens
  • Proficiency in one or more relevant programming language. (eg Kotlin/Android, Java).
  • Experience with modern build strategies, continuous integration, unit testing, test driven development, static analysis, and automated integration tests.
  • Experience implementing and enhancing the CI/CD pipeline for mobile applications.
  • Experience with Jenkins preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering and evolving the architecture and DevOps practices for a team developing native mobile applications in an Agile and Lean development environment.
  • Experience with Cloud Development Platforms, Mobile/Web development frameworks, and Microservice architecture.
