Summary: The role of Software Engineer (Mid-level) involves designing and developing quality software solutions, particularly for an Android application. The position requires collaboration with team members to improve processes and support deployment while adhering to established standards. The role is hybrid, requiring onsite presence twice a fortnight, and is initially a 6-month contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing quality software solutions
  • Challenging and improving processes, tools, and approach
  • Sharing expertise and supporting solutions, occasionally out of hours
  • Coding and testing program modules to meet business needs
  • Packaging and supporting deployment of releases
  • Ensuring quality and security of the solution

Key Skills:

  • Demonstrable knowledge of Android software development
  • Experience with Kotlin, Google Play Store, Jetpack Compose, MVVM architecture, and Core routines
  • Continuous integration/deployment experience
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology
  • Coaching and mentoring skills
  • Knowledge transfer and adherence to standards
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in finance and savings domain

Role Summary Position : Software Engineer (Mid-level) Location: Coventry Daily Rate: £550/Day Inside Work Module: Hybrid (Need to be Onsite twice in a fortnight) Job Type: 6 Months Contract Initially

Key Responsibilities:

  • Additional detailed performance objectives will be set by your manager.
  • Designing and developing quality software solutions
  • Challenging and improving our processes, tools and approach
  • Sharing your expertise
  • Supporting our solutions, occasionally out of hours
  • Coding and testing program modules to deliver solutions that meet business needs to established standards.
  • Package and support deployment of releases quality and security of the solution

Specific Skills:

  • Demonstrable knowledge of and related experience within an Android software development environment.
  • Kotlin
  • Google play store
  • Jetpack compose
  • MVVM architecture
  • Core routines
  • Continuous integration/deployment

Project Work Focus Areas :

  • Feature delivery for a new Android app
  • Mobile onboarding for new customers
  • General feature delivery in the savings space
