Summary: We are seeking a skilled Android Developer for a 6-month contract in Leeds, working in a hybrid model. The role involves creating user-friendly mobile applications using native Android technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio and experience with Kotlin, CI/CD, and RESTful APIs. This position is classified as inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and code innovative digital mobile solutions aligned with business goals and KPIs.
  • Create beautiful, intuitive user interfaces using native Android technologies.
  • Build, test, and deploy mobile applications to meet evolving business requirements.
  • Maintain a full CI/CD pipeline, including both unit and UI testing, to ensure product robustness.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience as an Android Developer with a strong portfolio.
  • Proficiency in Kotlin and a solid understanding of the Android platform.
  • Hands-on experience releasing apps to Google Play.
  • Strong knowledge of version control (Git), unit/UI testing (Espresso), and CI/CD tools (CircleCI).
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating them into mobile apps.
  • Passion for modern Android development, including coroutines and Jetpack Compose.

We're on the lookout for a talented Android Developer to join us on a 6-month contract basis. Based in Leeds with 2 days per week in the office, you'll help us create engaging, user-friendly mobile experiences using the latest native Android technologies.
