Summary: Our client is seeking an experienced Analytics Engineer for a contract role focused on delivering a project. The position involves building and maintaining DBT models and SQL transformations, as well as automating data pipelines using Python. The role requires strong skills in data reconciliation and quality assurance during migration. This contract offers the potential for extension after an initial period of 3-6 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building, debugging, and maintaining production DBT models and SQL transformations for reporting and data pipelines.
- Using Python for data transformations, scripting, reconciliation checks, and pipeline support.
- Comparing outputs across legacy and new platforms, performing root-cause analysis, and ensuring data quality during migration.

Contract Details:
- This position will be paying up to £500 p/day (Outside IR35)
- Initial contract between 3-6 months with likelihood to extend
- 2 days a week onsite in Central London
