The full-time starting salary is normally £38,050.00 per annum, with progression available in post to £44,131.00 per annum. Grade: F Fixed Term, 12 Month Maternity Cover

We are looking for an individual with demonstrable knowledge and skills in project management and experience of strategy and/or policy implementation within a Higher Education Institution or similar type of multifaceted organisation. Working within the Birmingham City University’s Planning and Performance Department we are seeking an individual who has the skills to work across several disciplines and can support the implementation of 2030 Strategy; articulate and understand key performance indicators; develop systems and processes for monitoring compliance; produce monitoring and strategic insight reports for Senior Management. The individual will be providing support to the Planning and Performance Director and working across all faculties and professional service departments engaged in delivery of BCU’s 2030 Strategy. The role will require good working relationships with a wide range of departments and roles.

You will be educated to degree level, and have relevant experience of stakeholder relationships. You will be skilled in report writing with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively to a range of audiences. You will have proven experience in providing project support for complex policy and/or strategy initiatives. You will also have strong analytical skills, with experience in assimilating complex and detailed information from a variety of sources to provide clear and concise summaries, reports and actions. A Project Management Qualification such as PRINCE 2, and experience of stakeholder and risk management in the Higher Education sector is desirable.
