Summary: A globally renowned US Law Firm is seeking an AML Analyst for an initial 6-12 month fixed-term contract to enhance their compliance operations in the London office. The role involves executing AML processes, including Client Due Diligence and risk assessments, while fostering relationships with internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake AML processes such as Client Due Diligence (CDD), analysis, risk assessments, ongoing monitoring, and reporting.
- Review and assess the AML and reputational risk associated with new client and matter requests.
- Perform CDD and screening for PEPs, Sanctions, etc.
- Ensure all document research and analysis is thoroughly completed on clients and/or matters.
- Perform investigations and escalate findings clearly and concisely for internal review by the AML Lawyer and MLRO.
- Establish excellent working relationships with key internal stakeholders: partners, associates, assistants, Conflicts and New Business Intake, and AML team.
Key Skills:
- Relevant AML experience (preferably in an international law firm).
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
- Strong proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
