Detailed Description From Employer:

Job Title: Amazon Marketplace Manager - 3 Month FTC - Hybrid or Fully Remote

This is a 3-month fixed-term contract and we are looking for an experienced Amazon professional who can integrate quickly and operate independently from the outset. Candidates should bring demonstrable, hands-on Seller Central expertise and be ready to make an impact from day one. This is a great opportunity for a self-starter to take ownership of our portfolio of products across our beauty brands — Mylee, Magnitone, and PraNaturals — ensuring their success day-to-day.

The role covers four core areas of Amazon operations:

  • Financial Management — owning the P&L for your product portfolio and identifying opportunities to optimise cost lines (bottomline)
  • Performance & Growth — root-causing performance trends and implementing data-driven strategies to drive sales growth (topline)
  • PPC & Marketing — overseeing the PPC team (of 2) and managing the full suite of Amazon marketing tactics
  • Inventory Management — ensuring products remain in stock and FBA costs are kept in check (overseeing one inventory planner)

Your success will be based on your intimate knowledge of the ASINs you manage, your ability to deep-dive into performance data, diagnose issues quickly, and turn insight into clear action plans.

About us: HSNF is redefining beauty, growing year after year with trusted and loved brands, delivering professional-quality products. Mylee and Magnitone, our stars, are found nationwide in top UK retailers like Boots, Superdrug, and Holland & Barrett, and online at ASOS, Beauty Bay, and Amazon. And we’re just getting started. Mylee is the UK’s No. 1 At Home gel nail brand, and Magnitone’s latest innovation, Face Rocket, took home the 2024 Pure Beauty Award. With bold plans for European expansion and a focus on high-growth categories, HSNF is ready to lead the future of beauty.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Analyse Product Data: Review and interpret Amazon ASIN-level data (sales, conversion rates, page views, costs, etc.) to uncover trends, diagnose issues, and propose data-driven strategies for growth and troubleshooting.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports, working with our finance team to maintain accurate P&Ls for your product portfolio.
  • Develop Growth Strategies: Implement strategies to enhance sales and reduce costs, including price optimisation, PPC campaigns, coupons and deals, and eliminating unprofitable products.
  • Manage Listings: Oversee the health and success of product listings on Amazon, including monitoring key metrics, competitive analysis, pricing adjustments, and ensuring inventory accuracy.
  • Proactive Problem-Solving: Stay ahead of potential issues by understanding the broader ecosystem in which your products compete, including changes in competitor dynamics, industry trends, and Amazon policies.
  • Launch & Expansion: Partner with internal teams to develop go-to-market strategies, support new product launches, and facilitate international marketplace expansion.
  • Inventory Coordination: Work closely with the supply chain team to ensure products remain in stock, flag replenishment needs, and minimise FBA storage costs.

About You:

  • 4+ years of experience in an Amazon-focused role, with a strong track record of managing and growing a sizeable product portfolio
  • 4+ years of hands-on Amazon Seller Central experience (Seller Central is a firm requirement — Vendor Central experience alone will not be considered)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw conclusions, and make actionable recommendations
  • Proficiency in Excel and comfort with data-driven tools and methodologies — experience with tools such as Helium 10 or similar is a plus
  • Exceptional organisational abilities and attention to detail, with a proven ability to manage deadlines and prioritise across a large catalogue
  • Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and operate independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in beauty, health & beauty, or FMCG is advantageous but not essential
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Marketing, Data Science, or a related field

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary.
  • A commercially meaningful short-term role managing some of the UK’s leading beauty brands on Amazon
  • Exposure across multiple beauty brands with different audiences, categories, and strategies
  • A collaborative, data-driven team environment with direct access to senior leadership
  • Competitive day rate or fixed-term salary, depending on candidate preference
  • Hybrid working from our London office or the option to work fully remote option available

For London office based employees: you must have the right to work in the UK to be considered.
