Are you passionate about maximizing brand visibility, sales performance, and customer satisfaction on Amazon? Do you thrive on data-driven optimization and seamless execution of complex marketplace operations—both domestically and internationally? We’re looking for an Amazon Channel Specialist to take full ownership of our Amazon storefront, expand into new markets, and drive growth, profitability, and a world-class shopper experience.
Role Overview
As our Amazon Channel Specialist, you will be the go-to expert for everything Amazon—from product listings and A+ content to inventory management, advertising campaigns, and seller-central operations. You’ll partner closely with marketing, procurement, and logistics teams to optimize every aspect of our presence on Amazon and spearhead the launch of new international marketplaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Amazon Storefront Management
- Build and maintain compelling product pages (titles, bullet points, descriptions, A+ content).
- Implement SEO best practices for on-site keywords and backend search terms.
- Lead A/B tests on images, copy, and storefront layouts to continuously improve click-through and conversion rates.
- Inventory Planning & Fulfillment
- Forecast Amazon-specific demand using historical sales data, seasonality, and promotional calendars.
- Coordinate with procurement to maintain ideal FBA and FBM inventory levels—avoiding stockouts, excess fees, and stranded inventory.
- Oversee shipments to Amazon fulfilment centres and manage removal or disposal of aged stock.
- Advertising & Promotional Strategy
- Develop and execute Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and DSP campaigns—setting budgets, bids, and targeting strategies for optimal ACOS and ROI.
- Plan and launch Amazon Lightning Deals, coupons, and Subscribe & Save promotions in alignment with key sales events (Prime Day, Black Friday, Valentine’s Day, etc.).
- Global Market Expansion
- Identify and evaluate new Amazon marketplaces (e.g., North America, Europe, APAC).
- Lead the end-to-end process of launching in new regions: compliance, translations, VAT registration, and local fulfilment setups.
- Adapt listings, pricing, and promotions to regional preferences and competitive landscapes.
- Performance Analysis & Reporting
- Monitor weekly and monthly KPIs: sales velocity, Buy Box win rate, TACoS, session percentage, and customer reviews.
- Build dynamic dashboards to track performance and identify growth or risk areas.
- Present actionable insights and recommendations to Senior Leadership during monthly business reviews.
- Compliance & Catalog Health
- Ensure all listings meet Amazon’s category, image, and content guidelines.
- Manage Brand Registry enrolment, Intellectual Property claims, and suppression alerts.
- Respond to A-to-Z claims, feedback removal requests, and customer inquiries in Seller Central.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with Digital Marketing to sync off-Amazon campaigns and product launches.
- Liaise with Procurement on lead times, cost negotiations, and new SKU onboarding.
- Coordinate with Logistics teams to troubleshoot fulfilment bottlenecks and returns processes.
Qualifications
- 3+ years managing a direct-to-consumer or agency role on Amazon Seller/Vendor Central.
- Deep expertise in Amazon SEO, Sponsored Ads, A+ Content, and storefront merchandising.
- Proven track record launching and scaling across multiple international Amazon marketplaces.
- Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel and/or BI tools to manipulate large datasets.
- Solid understanding of FBA/FBM logistics, inventory planning, and Amazon fee structures.
- Excellent communication, project-management skills, and a solutions-focused attitude.
- Experience with third-party Amazon tools (e.g., Helium 10, Jungle Scout, Sellics) is a plus.
