We are seeking an Alternative Provision Teacher to join our specialist team in Burnley . Whether you are a Qualified Teacher (QTS) or an Unqualified Teacher with significant experience in SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) , we want to hear from you. The Opportunity This is a unique temp-to-perm role, allowing you to settle into our provision and ensure we are the right fit for you before committing to a permanent contract. You will be working with students who have been excluded from, or are at risk of excluding from, mainstream education. Key Responsibilities: Deliver an Adaptive Curriculum: Tailor lessons to engage students with complex learning needs, including ADHD, Autism (ASC), and SEMH . Foster Emotional Growth: Use trauma-informed practices to help students manage their emotions and build self-esteem. Small Group Instruction: Work with small class sizes (5-8 pupils) alongside dedicated Teaching Assistants .
