Summary: The Akeneo/PIM Product Manager is responsible for defining and driving the product strategy for Akeneo PIM solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and client needs. This role involves cross-functional collaboration with various stakeholders, overseeing the product development life cycle, and ensuring customer-focused solutions through user research and performance analysis. The manager will also track key product metrics and communicate updates to stakeholders regularly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and drive the product strategy for Akeneo PIM solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and client needs.
- Work closely with stakeholders including engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure the seamless execution of Akeneo PIM initiatives.
- Gather, document, and prioritize business requirements for new features or enhancements to Akeneo PIM based on client feedback and market trends.
- Oversee the product development life cycle from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery of features and updates.
- Ensure that Akeneo PIM solutions meet the needs of clients by conducting user research, gathering feedback, and analysing data to improve the user experience.
- Track key product metrics and use data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement and optimization of the product.
- Regularly update stakeholders on product status, timelines, and key performance metrics.
Key Skills:
- 3+ years in product management, with specific experience in Akeneo PIM or other PIM systems.
- Experience working with retail, eCommerce, or other product-centric industries.
- Strong understanding of Akeneo PIM, with the ability to manage and implement product features.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, project tracking tools (eg, Jira, Trello), and managing the full product life cycle.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical requirements into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and environments.
