Aircraft Fitter - Skilled & Semi-Skilled
12 month contract
Based in Filton
Offering between £25.62-£28.87ph Inside IR35 DOE
Shifts are 6:30am-3:45pm Monday to Thursday
Do you have experience using hand tools in previous roles such as a fitter/assembler?
Do you hold an apprenticeship in an engineering discipline (NVQ L3, etc.)?

As the Aircraft Fitter, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing.
They are always looking to bring on new talents such as yourself and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry.
You will be involved in:
- Work from engineering instructions and understand Aircraft Drawings
- Complete tasks to the required standards
- General tasks include the use of power tools for drilling, shimming, and sealing
- 1 party certification will be required following successful completion of the relevant courses
- You may need to work in a confined space (tank work), which includes restricted and physically demanding wing access and egress through oval shaped manholes
Your skillset may include:
- Aerospace or Engineering Full Apprenticeship (for Skilled)
- Indenture and City & Guilds Level 2, BTEC ONC or Modern Apprenticeship Certificate, NVQ Level 2, 3, Key Skills level 2 and City & Guilds Level 2/BTEC ONC in a recognised engineering field (for Skilled)
- An ability to work alone or as part of a team
- An openness to continuous improvement processes and new ways of working
- Knowledge and a high regard for Health and Safety standards
