Aircraft Electrician

Summary: The Aircraft Electrical Fitter role involves supporting line and base maintenance operations for a Rotary Wing fleet, focusing on aircraft movements and general hangar duties. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance under the supervision of a Lead Engineer.
• Complete maintenance inspections and repairs under supervision.
• Conduct maintenance on avionic and electrical systems in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Assist with aircraft movements and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient hangar environment.

Key Skills:

• Strong understanding of electrical and avionic systems within aerospace environments.
• Experience using specialised test equipment for troubleshooting and maintaining electrical and avionic components.
• Up-to-date knowledge of flight and airport operations procedures.
• Familiarity with aircraft line and base maintenance practices.
• Desirable experience with UK Military Aviation and the UK MFTS.
• Familiarity with CAA Part 145 and Part M regulations.
• Previous hands-on experience with H135 and H145 helicopters.
