Summary: The Aircraft Electrical Fitter role involves providing engineering operational support for flight operations at the largest helicopter manufacturer on a 12-month contract. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering operational support to Flight Operations.
- Accomplish maintenance inspections and repairs as directed by the Shift Supervisor or Certifying Engineer.
- Ensure continued safe operation of the aircraft by working to high standards.
- Complete maintenance of avionic and electrical systems according to OEM instructions.
- Conduct off-aircraft technical work in workshops as required.
- Assist in the day-to-day running of the aircraft Hangar, including aircraft movement and general housekeeping responsibilities.
Key Skills:
- Thorough knowledge of electrical and avionic systems.
- Apprenticeship in Aircraft Maintenance or related discipline.
- Knowledge of specialised test equipment for electrical and avionic systems.
- Up-to-date knowledge of Flight/Airport Operations, Aircraft Line Maintenance, and Aircraft Base Maintenance.
- Desirable: Knowledge of UK Military Aviation and UK MFTS, EASA Part 145 and Part M regulations, and experience on H135.
