Summary: The role of Air Conditioning Engineer involves providing mobile support for air conditioning systems within Sussex and Surrey. The position requires proven experience and qualifications in air conditioning, along with a strong understanding of health and safety. The engineer will perform maintenance, fault-finding, and installation tasks as part of a Facilities and Maintenance team. This is a permanent, full-time position with standard working hours from Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing PPM servicing, fault-finding, and reactive breakdown repairs on Air Conditioning building services systems and infrastructure
- Rectifying hot/cold issues by adjusting BMS systems
- Carrying out mechanical maintenance duties on belts, motors, and valves
- Completing minor installation work
- Engaging with stakeholders and providing fault diagnostics as needed
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as an AC Engineer
- NVQ Level 2 in Air Conditioning
- Strong health and safety understanding
- FGAS Category 1 certification
- Full UK Driving Licence
