Summary: The AI Product Designer role involves leading the design life cycle for AI-powered applications within a top global company on a contract basis. Key Responsibilities:
- Own the full design life cycle, from discovery and journey mapping to production
- Translate product vision into interaction patterns
- Prototype quickly and validate through user feedback, testing and experimentation
- Help build a design system for AI-powered applications
- Champion user empathy and business alignment, communicating trade-offs
Key Skills:
- Experience designing and shipping digital products
- A portfolio showing your taste and reasoning
- Ability to quickly create designs in Figma and iterate over these with users and team
- Ability to build what you design, with a strong grasp of HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript and component-based frameworks (React/Svelte)
- An understanding of usability, accessibility, design and performance best practices
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience designing AI-powered applications is highly desirable
- Data visualization experience is highly desirable

Please note if successful you will need to set up via an Umbrella Company/PAYE. Our client is looking for an AI Product Designer with experience designing AI-powered applications.
