Summary: The role of Agentic AI Consultant involves leading the design of AI-enabled workflows to support enterprise-wide AI transformation initiatives. This strategic position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure that governance, controls, and human oversight are integrated into process designs. The consultant will focus on operational redesign and workflow orchestration, driving process transformation and organizational change management. Occasional travel to Chicago is required, although remote work is also an option.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design of future-state (to-be) AI-enabled workflows rather than simply automating existing manual processes
  • Design agentic process flows incorporating:
  • Human-in-the-loop decision points
  • Approval workflows
  • Exception handling paths
  • Escalation models
  • Audit evidence capture
  • Governance and compliance controls
  • Partner directly with business leaders, finance, accounting, risk, audit, and operations teams to gather requirements and align process transformation initiatives
  • Present agentic workflow designs and operational transformation strategies to leadership teams and key stakeholders
  • Ensure workflows are compliant, auditable, and finance-safe within enterprise and regulated environments
  • Translate business and compliance requirements into structured AI-orchestrated operational workflows
  • Collaborate with engineering and automation teams to ensure scalable implementation of AI-enabled solutions
  • Drive process transformation and organizational change management initiatives
  • Identify opportunities for lightweight automation and AI-driven operational efficiencies without overengineering solutions
  • Support enterprise conversational AI and agentic AI initiatives interacting with enterprise data platforms and data lakes
  • Contribute to governance frameworks, operating models, and AI adoption best practices across pods

Key Skills:

  • 8+ years of experience in process transformation, workflow design, intelligent automation, governance, controls, or enterprise consulting
  • Strong experience designing complex operational workflows in enterprise environments
  • Experience working with finance, accounting, audit, controls, risk, or compliance-driven organizations
  • Proven ability to lead stakeholder discussions and executive-level presentations
  • Experience designing:
  • Human-in-the-loop workflows
  • Approval and escalation models
  • Exception management processes
  • Governance and audit frameworks
  • Strong understanding of operational risk, compliance, and audit readiness principles
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational change management skills

B) Conversational AI Expansion on Enterprise Fuel Data (Secondary Focus)
  • Support deployment of AI agents interacting with enterprise data sources and data lake environments
  • Enhance AI-driven workflows leveraging conversational AI capabilities and enterprise context management
