Summary: The Senior AI Engineer will play a pivotal role in developing a firmwide AI Development Platform aimed at integrating Generative AI capabilities across the organization. The engineer will also provide technical leadership and engage with stakeholders to optimize AI solutions. Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build a firmwide AI Development Platform to support the integration of Generative AI capabilities throughout the organization.
• Create proof-of-concept applications, examples, and tools to provide developers with access to Gen AI models via standardized APIs.
• Develop self-service tooling that streamlines the deployment and management of AI solutions.
• Collaborate with developers to optimize the process of building and deploying AI applications.
• Guide internal teams on best practices within the Generative AI ecosystem, including models (eg, GPT, Llama, Hugging Face) and libraries (eg, Langchain, Sematic Kernel).
• Contribute to technical leadership, driving key design decisions and product selections for Generative AI solutions.
• Engage in customer-facing interactions, providing expertise in AI capabilities and implementations.
• Develop integrations with large-scale vector stores for embedding management and enhance platform scalability.

Key Skills:

• 8-12 years of experience in software engineering, design, and development.
• Strong hands-on experience in building software platforms, API development, and working with REST frameworks.
• In-depth knowledge of AIML technologies and hands-on experience implementing Generative AI solutions.
• A developer mindset, with the ability to build common, reusable solutions for scaling AI use cases, utilizing pre-trained and fine-tuned models.
• Proven leadership in driving innovative AI solutions in a large-scale enterprise setting.
• Proficiency in at least one prominent programming language (Python is preferred).
• Strong understanding of data engineering, including SQL, NoSQL, Big Data, and data governance.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with code repositories such as GitHub and BitBucket.
• Experience deploying applications to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), and using tools like Terraform.
