Summary: The AI/ML, GenAI IT Project Manager role at a world-class defence organization in Bolton involves overseeing the development and maintenance of generative AI solutions. Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and oversee generative AI solutions from inception to maintenance.
• Provide necessary architecture and know-how for end-to-end development of solutions.
• Develop expertise and capabilities within the company.
• Define and maintain processes and methods for generative AI solutions.
• Provide infrastructure, technologies, and expertise to support generative AI solutions.
• Support and maintain delivered generative AI solutions.
• Manage expectations, timelines, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Mitigate risks and align projects with business objectives.

Key Skills:

• Proven experience (5+ years) as an IT Project Manager in AI/ML, GenAI, or data projects.
• Good knowledge of data and GenAI technologies (e.g., LLMs, NLP, microservices).
• Hands-on experience managing projects in Agile/Scrum/Kanban.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and expectation management skills.
• Good technical background and ability to work with multi-disciplinary and international teams.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management tools.
