Summary: The AI/ML, GenAI IT Project Manager role at a leading Defence Organisation in Bolton involves overseeing the development and maintenance of generative AI solutions. The contract is for an initial 12 months with potential for extension, and the role includes a mix of remote and on-site work. The position is classified as inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the execution of AI-driven solutions within the GenAI Delivery Office Team.
• Oversee the end-to-end development of generative AI solutions.
• Define and maintain processes and methods for generative AI solutions.
• Provide infrastructure, technologies, and expertise to support generative AI solutions.
• Support and maintain delivered generative AI solutions.
• Develop and maintain generative AI expertise within the company.
• Manage expectations, timelines, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Mitigate risks and align projects with business objectives.

Key Skills:

• Proven experience (5+ years) as an IT Project Manager or similar role in AI/ML, GenAI, or data projects.
• Good knowledge of data and GenAI technologies (e.g., LLMs, NLP, microservices).
• Hands-on experience managing projects in Agile/Scrum/Kanban.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and expectation management skills.
• Good technical background and ability to work effectively with multi-disciplinary and international distributed teams.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management tools.

Salary (Rate): £80.00
