Summary: The AI Implementation Manager for Retail Media at Ocado Retail is responsible for leading the transformation of Supplier Funded Media operations through AI-driven workflows. This role involves architecting automated solutions, managing media delivery, and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance the overall supplier and customer experience. The position is a six-month fixed-term contract based in Hatfield, requiring a strategic and organized individual with a strong background in AI and project management. The successful candidate will leave a lasting impact on the media handling processes of the UK's largest online supermarket.
Key Responsibilities:
- Map complex media lifecycles and architect automated end-to-end solutions.
- Build out a delivery plan to ensure measurable changes are rolled out over the 6 month contract period.
- Utilise available tools (eg Gemini, Monday.com, FigmaBuzz) to implement AI driven workflows.
- Act as the bridge between Commercial stakeholders and Engineering to deploy proprietary AI integrations.
- Work closely with the SFM Manager to lead the team to deliver media on time and in full.
- Work with stakeholders across the business to develop an understanding of supplier funded media and associated business improvement projects.
- Upskill and build knowledge of E-commerce to support the connectivity of both teams.
- Influence and ensure teams within Ecommerce are accountable to deliver the requirements of the retail and content plans.
Key Skills:
- Strong knowledge of AI and Automation tools with experience implementing AI workflows.
- Proven ability in prompt engineering and a deep understanding of how to structure logic within AI workflows.
- Experience with workflow orchestration tools and connecting disparate APIs to create seamless end-to-end automations.
- Experience in project management and/or business improvement initiatives.
- Passionate about making change and creating efficiencies.
- Organised with great stakeholder management skills.
- Strong knowledge of ecommerce and supplier funded media.

About The Team And The Role
The Supplier Funded Media (SFM) team is responsible for the delivery of supplier media hosted on the ocado.com site. We balance the needs of the business alongside the requirements of the suppliers whilst always ensuring the customer is at the heart of all that we do. We are looking for an AI-forward Manager to lead the intelligent transformation of our Supplier Funded Media (SFM) operations. You won’t just be managing tasks; you will be the architect of AI-driven workflows, utilising tools like Gemini, LLM, Monday.com and FigmaBuzz to architect a technical transformation, automate high-volume media execution, and unlock strategic capacity for the entire team. The Media Project Manager will work closely with the SFM Manager to lead the team to deliver media on time and in full, supporting the overall strategy to grow supplier funded media opportunities. This person will be integral to ensuring we successfully deliver against supplier expectations, with the focus on improving the colleague, supplier & customer experience wherever possible. In 6 months, you will leave a legacy by fundamentally changing how the UK’s largest online supermarket handles media. This is a fast-paced implementation role perfect for someone who wants to prove the ROI of AI in a Tier-1 retail environment
