Our Fintech Banking Payment Service client based in London seeks a proactive, hands-on AI Engineer with Claude or Codex & Java Developer with solid expertise in Claude or Codex AI Tooling, Agentic AI, Java Development using Spring Boot within a Fintech Challenger Bank setting.
The ideal candidate MUST HAVE previous experience working in a startup/scaleup Fintech Financial Services environment. Any ISA product implementation/integration experience is an advantage but not essential. AI skills in Codex, Claude is highly sought as my client is looking for someone who is an AI Enthusiast.
Our client is hiring a hands-on Java Developer to support delivery and development of Savings products within their engineering function. The emphasis is on people who can work proactively and be technically self sufficient and key skills again are Java, Spring Boot, AI Tooling, Agentic AI with some Design & Architecture.
Required Experience for the Senior Java Developer is as follows:
- Fintech experience, ideally start up/scale up in Challenger Banking/Payment Services (ISA, Savings) etc.
- Strong hands-on Java development and coding with some design & architecture.
- Spring Boot experience
- AI Tooling & Agentic AI with good Claude or Codex skills
- Highly Desirable is Development experience with ISA implementations/ISA integrations
This is a 6 month initial contract with 2 days/week on site in London.
