Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and enhance AI-powered operational tools and automation solutions
  • Develop proof-of-concept applications and support scalable solution delivery
  • Work closely with operational and business teams to identify process improvement opportunities
  • Support the development of bespoke internal platforms, dashboards, and workflow tools
  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders across the business
  • Contribute to the longer-term roadmap for AI and automation capabilities

Key Skills:

  • Strong hands-on development experience, ideally with Python
  • Experience building internal business tools, automation solutions or operational platforms
  • Exposure to AI tooling, workflow automation or rapid prototyping environments
  • Understanding of cloud infrastructure environments
  • Kubernetes exposure beneficial but not essential
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Fintech, Operations or data-driven industry experience beneficial but not required

Initial 12 month Contract | £350 per day inclusive of holiday pay PAYE

We're working with a globally recognised technology organisation looking for an AI & Automation Developer to join a fast-paced Business Operations team focused on improving internal processes, tooling and automation capabilities.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys building practical solutions, rapidly prototyping ideas and working closely with business users to solve operational challenges. You'll support the development of AI-powered tools, workflow automation, reporting solutions and internal platforms that help streamline day-to-day operations across the business.

The team is highly collaborative and entrepreneurial, with a strong focus on delivering solutions quickly and iterating based on feedback. You'll work closely with the hiring manager, operational stakeholders and technical teams to help shape and deliver several key automation initiatives already underway.
