AI Architect

AI Architect - Initial 3 month contract

We are looking for somebody to help in designing a fully agentic AI solution to transform a major client's Governance, Risk and Compliance function. We are sourcing the AI Architect to own the target architecture through that design phase.

This is a hands-on design lead role, not an oversight seat. You will shape the agentic architecture, orchestration and intelligence-layer patterns the build will be delivered against, and set architectural direction across platform, integration and security.

What you will do

• Define the target-state AI, application and integration architecture
• Design agentic AI, orchestration, workflow and intelligence-layer patterns
• Set integration approaches across enterprise platforms and third-party solutions
• Ensure security, resilience, observability and scalability are designed in from the start
• Provide architectural governance through design and into implementation

What you will bring

• Enterprise and solution architecture pedigree with recent, hands-on AI design
• Agentic AI and GenAI platform, agent framework and orchestration experience delivered in the last 12 months
• Strong API, microservices and integration architecture
• Cloud architecture, Azure preferred
• Security, identity and access management fluency
• The communication and stakeholder skills to carry a room of technical and business leaders
