Summary: The External Quality Assurer (EQA) role involves conducting and documenting quality assurance activities in accordance with City & Guilds and regulatory standards, specifically within the Agriculture qualifications sector. The position requires maintaining effective relationships with centres and the City & Guilds office while planning and monitoring quality assurance activities. This role offers a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to leverage industry expertise and contribute to quality assurance processes. Training will be provided post-application review and vetting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and document quality assurance activities in line with City & Guilds and regulatory arrangements.
- Support centres with industry and quality assurance expertise.
- Maintain effective working relationships with centres and the City & Guilds office.
- Plan and monitor quality assurance activities according to qualification requirements.
- Provide supportive and concise feedback to learners, assessors, and delivery staff.
Key Skills:
- Current and credible expertise in Agriculture qualifications.
- Appropriate assessor qualification (D32/D33 or A1/A2 or TAQA Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement).
- Experience working in a regulated environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to provide supportive feedback to various stakeholders.
- Ideally located within the region of the vacancy.
