Summary: The External Quality Assurer (EQA) role involves conducting and documenting quality assurance activities in accordance with City & Guilds and regulatory standards, specifically within the Agriculture qualifications sector. The position requires maintaining effective relationships with centres and the City & Guilds office while planning and monitoring quality assurance activities. This role offers a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to leverage industry expertise and contribute to quality assurance processes. Training will be provided post-application review and vetting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct and document quality assurance activities in line with City & Guilds and regulatory arrangements.
• Support centres with industry and quality assurance expertise.
• Maintain effective working relationships with centres and the City & Guilds office.
• Plan and monitor quality assurance activities according to qualification requirements.
• Provide supportive and concise feedback to learners, assessors, and delivery staff.

Key Skills:

• Current and credible expertise in Agriculture qualifications.
• Appropriate assessor qualification (D32/D33 or A1/A2 or TAQA Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement).
• Experience working in a regulated environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to provide supportive feedback to various stakeholders.
• Ideally located within the region of the vacancy.
