Summary: The Agile Scrum Master role is a hybrid position based in Reading, requiring the candidate to be onsite once a week. This position is a 6-month contract with the potential for extension, emphasizing stakeholder management and agile methodologies. Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure teams adhere to agile/scrum practices.
• Organize and conduct scrum events such as sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Partner with Product Owners for timely deliverables based on business value.
• Manage sprint planning and execution with clear visibility into status.
• Participate in roadmap planning and scheduling with scrum team statistics.
• Identify and mitigate potential issues and roadblocks for development teams.
• Work with stakeholders to prioritize and refine the product backlog.
• Facilitate issue resolution and protect the scrum team from external influences.
• Assist with backlog maintenance and defect resolution prioritization.
• Coach scrum team members in story selection and task definition.
• Create and maintain sprint and product burndowns and velocity metrics.
• Contribute to agile methodologies training and coaching.
• Support scrum and Kanban teams in agile deliveries.
• Collaborate with other agile practitioners for alignment and standardization.
• Liaise with Product Owner and delivery leads on strategic priorities and objectives.
