Summary: We are seeking an experienced Agile Delivery Manager to lead the delivery of digital services for a public sector client. The role requires a strong background in agile methodologies and the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams effectively. The position involves regular on-site presence in Newcastle Upon-Tyne and requires active SC clearance. The ideal candidate will thrive in complex environments and drive delivery aligned with strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead agile delivery across multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with product, design, research, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Engage with senior stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure transparency.
- Apply GDS standards and user-centred design principles throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as an Agile Delivery Manager in public sector or large-scale digital programmes.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and delivery frameworks.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with GDS standards and user-centred design (UCD) principles. (This is an essential requirement)
