Summary: The Agile Delivery Manager will oversee multifunctional agile teams within a leading tech consultancy, focusing on a public sector client for a 10-month engagement. This role involves facilitating agile ceremonies, removing delivery obstacles, and ensuring high-quality product delivery that meets user needs. The manager will also track delivery progress and coach team members in agile methodologies. Candidates must have recent experience in the UK public sector and the right to work in the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support multifunctional agile teams, including developers, designers, researchers, and product owners.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and showcases.
- Remove delivery obstacles and foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
- Ensure the team delivers high-quality products that meet user needs and adhere to public sector accessibility and security requirements.
- Track and report delivery progress using appropriate agile metrics and delivery reports.
- Work closely with stakeholders to manage expectations, priorities, and dependencies across teams and programmes.
- Champion agile principles, coaching team members and stakeholders in agile ways of working.
Key Skills:
- Recent experience working with multifunctional teams within the UK public sector.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and principles.
- Ability to facilitate agile ceremonies effectively.
- Experience in tracking and reporting delivery progress using agile metrics.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Coaching and mentoring skills in agile practices.

We’re working with a leading tech consultancy that are seeking a contract Agile Delivery Manager to join them to work with a public sector client for a short engagement.
This person will:
