Summary: The Agile Delivery Lead is responsible for overseeing multiple squads using the Scrum framework to deliver API and Integration software within the Enterprise Integration team. This role involves managing project engagement, planning, reporting, and execution to ensure timely delivery of features aligned with business objectives. The position requires strong leadership and governance skills to drive high-quality delivery and support continuous improvement initiatives. The Agile Delivery Lead will also contribute to the organization's transformation towards agility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accountable for the leadership of a number of squads and ensuring the delivery of value as per the agreed backlog and in line with the release schedule to support wider programmes
- Create and manage Sprint plans for feature delivery across your assigned squads
- Track and support the delivery of features to the agreed budget and sprint plans and achieve a low risk, repeatable, transition into service.
- Works with Integration Lead to shape and estimate demand for the Factory as described by the change portfolio and business
- Supports the production of cost forecasts, maintain and improves accurate estimation tools and reports the overall Factory delivery budget
- Leads the internal and customer facing governance and performance reporting for their synchronised squad delivery teams
- Works with the Agile Management Office to manage central shared services provided to the factory such as; 3rdparty resource on-boarding, project stage-gate management and financial reporting
- Provides overall day to day delivery leadership including decision making with the delivery squads across multiple channels
- Reports relevant agile metrics to continually drive high quality delivery for the squads and drives improvement into the process supported by the data
- Contributes to the organisation transformation efforts to drive an agility mind set
- Feeds into end-to-end plans from Projects and Value Streams, and ensures readiness for each environment of API and Integration components to align with this plan
- Supports Value Streams and Projects during end-to-end and non-functional testing phases, ensuring any defects are triaged and addressed in a timely manner and any change requests identified and managed
- Supports all Release and Service Transition activities, ensuring any site-reliability requirements are met
- Supports transition to a continuous delivery model driving automation of build, deployment and test
Key Skills:
- 3rd level degree in similar subject area or equivalent experience
- Technical experience of the end to end SDLC including (on-premise and cloud hosting [AWS Preferred]); waterfall & agile methodologies
- Familiarity with DevSecOps processes, automation tooling, code management and environment services
- Experience leading engineering teams with a steadfast focus on delivering business value
- Experience of governance, operating models and partner management in a large complex Financial Services environment
- Familiarity with production service management requirements
- Deep understanding of IT Industry standard methodology in Agile software delivery
- Understanding of the delivery risks faced by IT delivery and the controls in place to manage & mitigate these risks
- Credibility and confidence working at senior levels in the organisation
- SAFe, Scrum or other relevant certifications desirable

Purpose of the Role
As an Agile Delivery Lead, you will be accountable for the delivery from a number of squads using Scrum framework to design, develop, test and release API and Integration software These squads will deliver specific features relating to Project and Value Stream deliveries within the Enterprise Integration team.
