Detailed Description From Employer:

Agile Delivery Manager (Public Sector Delivery) Contract Initial 6 months, with potential extension Day Rate: Outside IR35 Scotland based Storm ID is an award-winning Edinburgh-based digital transformation consultancy that helps organisations accelerate their use of digital, data and AI. We believe in tailored solutions, assembling expert teams to address each client's unique needs. Our services span strategy, design, technology and data & AI, ensuring seamless end-to-end delivery of platforms, products and services with real-world impact. What sets us apart is our commitment to long-lasting, data-driven, user-centred change. We enjoy close collaboration between our teams, ensuring projects move smoothly from discovery to design to delivery. We recognise the crucial link between digital and data, creating intelligent services that leverage both. We work with a range of clients across the Scottish and UK public and private sector.

About the role We're looking for a skilled and adaptable Agile Delivery Manager to support the delivery of high-quality digital services within a health sector client team. You'll be embedded directly into the client's environment, working alongside an existing delivery team as Storm's on-site representative. This isn't a role for someone who enforces a framework. We want someone who reads the room, adapts the process, and keeps the team moving toward what actually matters.

What you'll do Build and sustain high-performing teams, keeping people motivated, collaborating well, and working effectively together, especially through moments of change or pressure. Drive focus on what matters most, helping the team stay aligned to the most valuable outcomes and cutting through noise and competing priorities. Champion continuous improvement by encouraging a culture of learning and iteration, facilitating retrospectives, surfacing blockers early, and embedding improvement into the team's rhythm. Create and adapt ways of working, drawing from Agile and Lean practices to shape processes that are genuinely effective, coaching team members along the way. No rigid framework required, we need someone who can flex their approach as needs evolve. Coordinate cross-team delivery, working with other teams and stakeholders to manage dependencies, align on shared work, and keep complex delivery moving smoothly.

What we're looking for Proven experience as a Delivery Manager in an agile environment. Deep, practical knowledge of Agile and Lean practices and how to apply them well. Strong people skills with the ability to build trust, resolve conflict, and keep teams energised. A talent for coaching and facilitating without micromanaging. Comfortable coordinating delivery across multiple teams or workstreams. At ease working in ambiguity, shaping structure where it doesn't yet exist. Experience working in a team that builds platform solutions is a real plus. If you've helped deliver shared platforms, developer tooling, or internal services, we'd love to hear from you.
