Summary: The Agile Coach role involves supporting the transformation of technology teams within a large enterprise environment at a Digital Consultancy in Northampton. The position requires leading the adoption of Agile practices and coaching teams and stakeholders to enhance delivery. The contract is for six months, with a focus on embedding Agile principles and improving team performance. The role is classified as inside IR35 and requires 2-3 days onsite per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead adoption and maturity of Agile practices across multiple teams, including Scrum, Kanban, and scaled frameworks
- Coach teams, Product Owners, and senior stakeholders on Agile mindset and behaviours
- Support development of sprint goals, team charters, and definitions of done/ready
- Identify organisational barriers to agility and collaborate with leadership to remove them
- Design and implement process improvements across the development lifecycle
- Stay current with Agile trends, tools, and engineering practices
- Contribute to communities of practice and promote knowledge sharing
- Partner with business and technology leaders to align delivery with strategy and governance
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, workshops, and planning sessions
Key Skills:
- Proven track record of Agile transformation in large enterprise environments
- Extensive experience as an Agile Coach
- Strong facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working within technology and engineering teams
- Agile certifications (CSM, CSP, ICP-ACC, SAFe, LeSS)
- Background as a Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Lead
- Technical understanding of software development practices
- Experience with scaled Agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, Nexus, Spotify model)
