Summary: The Agile Coach role in Macclesfield, UK, focuses on guiding executive leaders and teams in adopting agile practices to enhance business agility. The position involves designing and executing transformation strategies, mentoring coaches, and facilitating workshops to integrate agility into core business functions. This is a contract position with a hybrid working arrangement, requiring 2-3 days on-site each week. The role is expected to last for 6 months with potential for long-term engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coach executive leaders, business units, and change agents in adopting business agility mindsets and practices.
- Lead the design and execution of enterprise transformation strategies aligned to organizational goals.
- Support value stream and portfolio level operating models that enable responsive decision making and value delivery.
- Establish internal coaching capability by mentoring Agile Coaches, Lean Coaches, and other transformation roles.
- Embed continuous improvement, feedback loops, and data-driven insights into CIPS operating rhythm.
- Facilitate leadership workshops, OKR alignment, demand assessment, and operating model design.
- Partner with HR, Finance, and other business areas to integrate agility into core business functions.
- Assess Agile maturity within CIPS as a whole.
- Work with existing teams and team coaches to provide guidance and path forward.
- Provide coaching to further improve Agile maturity of teams via teaching, mentoring, and coaching approaches.
- Work with all partners on the project and outside of the project when needed effectively towards interest.
- Provide Regular Reporting according to standard Ways of Working.
- Collaborate with and contribute back to the LACE to ensure lessons learned and standards are shared.
