Summary: The role of Contract Business Analyst focuses on supporting a major transformation programme within a high-growth fintech company. The position involves acting as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, facilitating various projects related to application and infrastructure changes. Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams to gather, analyse, and document requirements across a range of change projects
- Work across both application and infrastructure-focused initiatives - including software enhancements, SaaS integrations, system upgrades, and cloud transitions
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to define current and future state processes and ensure business objectives are clearly translated into technical requirements
- Create detailed documentation including business cases, functional specs, process maps, and gap analyses
- Collaborate with project managers, product owners, and delivery teams to support project planning, scope definition, and prioritisation
- Contribute to test planning and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions are aligned with business needs
- Identify improvement opportunities across systems and processes, feeding into the broader change strategy
- Support effective communication between technical teams and the wider business throughout the delivery life cycle
Key Skills:
- Proven track record as a Business Analyst on large-scale technology change programmes
- Experience working across both applications and infrastructure projects (eg migrations, cloud platforms, integrations)
- Strong understanding of SaaS environments and modern tech stacks
- Skilled in requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, and producing key project documentation
- Able to work confidently in Agile and/or hybrid delivery models
- Excellent communicator with the ability to simplify technical detail for non-technical audiences
- Familiarity with BA tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, or similar
