Summary: The Affiliate SEO Manager will be responsible for driving top-funnel traffic growth for a global publication through strategic affiliate commerce content. This freelance role requires immediate availability and involves collaboration with UK Commerce leads to optimize acquisition strategies. The position includes executing SEO tasks, conducting audits, and analyzing performance metrics to enhance traffic and revenue. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead top-of-funnel traffic acquisition strategies for affiliate commerce content.
- Collaborate with UK Commerce leads to craft tailored acquisition strategies for each title.
- Execute day-to-day organic search engine optimisation (SEO) tasks, including keyword research and content optimisation.
- Conduct regular SEO audits on commerce content and provide weekly traffic reports.
- Monitor traffic trends and implement recovery strategies following algorithm updates.
- Generate reports, analyze performance metrics, and share insights with stakeholders.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in Audience Development and SEO, preferably in media/publishing or an editorial agency.
- Proficiency with publishing and analytics tools such as Dash Hudson and Google Analytics.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise-level SEO tools like SEMrush.
- Commitment to best-in-class SEO practices.
