Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end audience strategy, including defining use cases and building segments.
  • Activate audience segments across digital channels to ensure personalized customer experiences.
  • Manage customer profiles, identities, and the identity graph for unified customer views.
  • Oversee data ingestion pipelines (Edge, Streaming, Batch) for accurate segmentation.
  • Guide SDK event capture and tagging best practices using Adobe Launch.
  • Contribute to the design and evolution of Aviva’s martech architecture.
  • Champion governance and compliance, including GDPR, across teams.

We’re looking for a highly skilled AEP Audience Manager to join our MarTech team at Aviva. In this role, you’ll take full ownership of building, managing, and optimising audiences within Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) using the real-time Customer Data Platform (rtCDP). Your work will enable personalised, data-driven experiences across paid media, website, app, and email channels—ensuring the right message reaches the right customer at the right time. A bit about the job: This is a hands-on role where technical expertise meets marketing activation. You’ll lead the end-to-end audience strategy, from defining use cases and building segments to activating them across digital channels. Collaboration will be key, as you’ll work closely with product and platform owners, go-to-market managers, and channel specialists to maximise the value of Aviva’s customer data and Adobe MarTech ecosystem. You’ll be instrumental in managing customer profiles, identities, and the identity graph to maintain unified customer views. This includes overseeing data ingestion pipelines—Edge, Streaming, and Batch—to ensure timely and accurate segmentation. You’ll also guide SDK event capture and tagging best practices using Adobe Launch, ensuring seamless integration and high-quality data collection. Beyond execution, you’ll contribute to the design and evolution of Aviva’s martech architecture, helping ensure scalability and optimal integration. You’ll also champion governance and compliance, including GDPR, and promote platform best practices across teams to maintain high standards and consistency. While the role sits within the MarTech team in the Customer and Marketing function, you’ll be working as a part of an agile squad dedicated to our Audience Management Activation Transformation Programme.

Skills and experience we’re looking for: Hands-on expertise with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) , particularly the real-time Customer Data Platform (rtCDP), with strong knowledge of profiles, identities, and identity graphs. Proven experience managing data ingestion (Edge, Streaming, Batch) and activation pipelines, with solid channel knowledge to optimise audience reach and effectiveness. Skilled in segmentation design and performance evaluation, with experience in schema management, dataset handling, and SDK event utilisation for profile enrichment. Strong communicator with the ability to build relationships and influence non-technical stakeholders in data-driven marketing environments. Broad MarTech and architecture understanding, capable of translating business needs into scalable technical solutions.
