Summary: The AEM Developer role involves leading the migration of microsites into Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and developing new components and templates based on Figma designs. The role is hybrid, requiring three days a week on-site in London, and is set for a duration of six months. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the migration of microsites into Adobe AEM, including scripting and automating data/content migration processes.
- Design and develop custom AEM components and templates based on Figma design specifications.
- Implement and optimize AEM solutions using AEM as a Cloud Service.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers, architects, and other developers to deliver high-quality digital experiences.
- Integrate AEM with third-party services and APIs.
- Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and performance tuning.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and delivery.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the full stack (front-end, back-end, cloud infrastructure).
- Stay current with AEM updates, cloud service enhancements, and best practices.
Key Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in Adobe Experience Manager development.
- Strong proficiency in Java, JSP, Sightly/HTL, Sling, and OSGi.
- Solid front-end skills: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React/Angular (preferred).
- Proven experience with AEM as a Cloud Service.
- Experience with data/content migration scripting (e.g., Groovy, Python, or custom Java utilities).
- Ability to translate Figma designs into responsive AEM components and templates.
- Familiarity with Adobe I/O, GraphQL, and Content Fragment Models.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, and Cloud Manager.
- Knowledge of Adobe Analytics, Target, and other Adobe Experience Cloud tools is a plus.
